In this painting I was experimenting with using lots of water and letting the water bleed colours into another. I'm very impatient so while I was meant to be leaving parts to dry a bit before I bled colours into it I went right ahead and added colour. The result was that colours were blending in areas they were not meant to be in and it turned into a big old mess. I love the vibrant colours in this picture and I love experimenting with my paints.

Tomorrow we are travelling to the beautiful city of Amsterdam for a few days. Orlaith is really excited about going on an aeroplane as it's been a few months since the last time we travelled. I'll be posting as normal while we're away x
