Vertigo 42

Weeks always start off very busy for me so by mid-week I am usually ready to crawl under the covers and shut the world out. This week had a particularly busy start and by Wednesday I really wasn't able to do much except drag myself into work and then drag myself home, and repeat the cycle.

On Thursday night we had a staff outing for the division I work in so, after a particularly stressful morning (before work) and what seemed like a very long day (at work), I was able to finally relax and head into town.

Vertigo 42 is an amazing champagne bar on the 42nd floor of an office building in Bank. Seeing London from this height is fantastic, seeing London from this height at night is phenomenal. It makes me miss the old days where visiting bars like this were a regular occurrence. The positive is now I appreciate it a lot more. The city I live in is amazing.

One thing I like more than having beautiful surroundings is being in great company, and I certainly was last night. The girls I work with are a lot of fun and you are guaranteed to find us giggling through out the night.
